Her journey took a remarkable turn shortly after graduating from the Magic In Motion Academy, where she was appointed as one of the writers for the acclaimed soap opera, Isibaya produced by Bomb Shelter. This opportunity marked the beginning of a series of accomplishments that would solidify her reputation as a rising star in the industry.

Throughout her young career, Zulu's dedication and talent have not gone unnoticed, earning her two well-deserved nominations for the prestigious South African Film & Television Awards (SAFTAS). These accolades not only recognize her impressive talent but also inspire others to pursue excellence and passion in their chosen paths.

Beyond her notable achievements, Zulu's commitment to authentic storytelling has led her to pursue diverse and impactful creative projects. Her short film, "Nompilo," which she both wrote and directed, received acclaim when it was selected and screened at the Durban International Film Festival, showcasing her versatility and narrative depth as a filmmaker.

As one of the founding members of A Tribe Called Story, Zulu's creative vision and tenacity have culminated in the successful production and writing of ten movies, as well as her head writing of the compelling 13-part drama series, "Impilo: The Scam." Her work as a story liner and scriptwriter on Erfsondes Season 3 further demonstrated her versatility and innovation as a storyteller.

Zulu's 2024 launch of two exciting projects, "Youngins" which can be watched on Showmax and "Lakhe's Matric," demonstrate her continued dedication to storytelling and innovation, further cementing her place as a creative force to be reckoned with.
