@SWIFT - Sisters Working in Film & Television together with @KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission empowered industry practitioners through the Safety Contact Officer Programme.
Did you know that the SWIFT Safety Contact Officer Programme (SCO) has been recognised as international best practice, and was presented in Berlin to the German Actors Guilt alongside the Intimacy Coordinating and the British Film Institute’s Wellbeing Facilitator project? The programme is inspired by research conducted by SWIFT which demonstrated that there is a need for this service. As there was no reporting mechanism or platform for incidents of sexual harassment.
As productions continue year-round, our SCOs are available for booking as independent, trained in the legal framework of sexual harassment who work closely with producers and crew to support everyone in the creation of a safe and respectful environment.
